Terms & Conditions

Last updated 26 August 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you book an appointment with Kiss Beauty, whether through this website, by phone, or over WhatsApp. Booking online means paying a deposit up front — the section below explains exactly how that works.

Most of it comes down to one thing: braiding takes hours, and a chair we hold for you is a chair nobody else can use. The deposit and notice periods below exist for that reason, not to catch anyone out.

Who we are

Kiss Beauty, Oldbury, West Midlands. Contact us at kissbeautyuk@gmail.com or 07469 476292.

Booking and deposits

Booking online requires a 30% deposit, paid at the time of booking. Your appointment is confirmed the moment that payment clears, and the slot is yours — there is no further step and nothing to wait for.

The deposit comes off your total. The remaining balance is payable at the end of your appointment.

We cannot hold a slot without a deposit. A long style occupies the chair for most of a working day, and holding one on a promise is how days get lost to people who never arrive.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to them and are never seen or stored by us. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all accepted.

If you would rather not pay online, call or WhatsApp us on 07469 476292 and we will arrange it with you directly.

Rescheduling

Life happens, and we would far rather move your appointment than lose you. Your deposit transfers to a new date when you tell us at least 48 hours ahead. There is nothing to pay again — call or WhatsApp us and we will move it.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations inside 48 hours, and non-attendance, forfeit the deposit. At that notice the slot almost never gets filled, and for a style taking six or seven hours that is most of a working day.

Outside 48 hours you have the choice: move the appointment and carry the deposit across, or cancel and have it refunded to the card you paid with. Refunds usually reach your account within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.

If we ever have to cancel or move your appointment, your deposit is refunded in full or carried over — whichever you prefer.

Running late

If you are running behind, please call. We will do what we can. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may need rescheduling, because a long style cannot be compressed and later guests should not be kept waiting.

Prices and what they include

The prices shown on this site are the studio price for each style at each length, and cover the styling itself.

Extensions and hair can be supplied on request at additional cost, and we will quote you before any work begins. If your hair turns out to need significantly more time than the style normally takes, we will tell you and agree any change with you first — you will never find an unexpected figure at the end.

Preparing for your appointment

Please arrive with clean, detangled hair unless you have booked a wash service. Hair that needs untangling on arrival eats into the time reserved for your style and may mean rescheduling.

Please tell us in advance about allergies, scalp conditions, recent chemical treatments or anything else affecting your hair or scalp, so we can plan the appointment properly and keep you comfortable.

Our responsibilities and yours

We will carry out your service with reasonable care and skill, using products suitable for your hair. Nothing in these terms removes or limits your legal rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We cannot accept responsibility for reactions or damage arising from information you did not tell us about, or from treatments carried out elsewhere. If you are unhappy with your style, tell us as soon as possible and we will put it right where we reasonably can.

Children and accompanying guests

Appointments run long and space is shared. Please let us know in advance if you need to bring someone with you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your appointment are the ones published when you booked, and the date at the top tells you which version you are reading.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
